Protest Against Dairy at ISKCON Radhe Krishna Temple London

A protest against Dairy at Radhe Krishna Iskcon Temple this month was held with much enthusiasm, with a few hardcore Vegan activists holding some posters quietly outside the doors. Yet, the temple pundits were rather aggressive and poorly behaved with some of the protestors, including myself, who was covering the event for my channel. The temple staff tried to confuse police to waste their time in order to stop vegan activism instead of supporting the noble mission for the benefit of cows.

The following video uncovers it all.

Ten odd protestors, including Vegan child Shaurya Dutta, wore blue covid/ surgical masks aimed at reducing confrontations and keeping discussions to a minimum, with simply #maakaadoodh and @maakadoodh written across both the masks and the few posters. A QR code pointed at Maa Ka Doodh (Mother’s Milk), a renowned documentary film that exposes harsh truths about Dairy.

No one can make any sense of the unusual dairy fascination of humans who are from apes and frugivore by nature.

A leading MP of India, Menaka Gandhi, who is a vocal animal rights activist, has stated shocking things about Iskcon in an interview within this documentary film and elsewhere, among several hideous details about dairy and the humongous animal exploitation inherent in the dairy industry, including by Hare Krishnas, covered up by Iskcon carefully in the guise of ‘welfarism’.

India is shamefully among the largest producers of beef and leather, directly as a result of the huge dairy cattle population.

To cater to the abnormal dairy demand of billions of Indians, cows are needlessly raped and abused to produce babies after babies who are either raped if female to produce babies, or killed (in some cases abandoned) at birth or within a few days of birth if male, and thereafter the mother is also abandoned and usually killed horifically as it is obviously unsustainable to house so many cows safely. Menaka Gandhi has also explained that bulls are ejaculated using electric shocks in the dairy industry that cause them to faint or vomit, while poor and ignorant humans are exploited to impregnate females using metal rods that perforate the uterus and vaginas of the cows who give painful births and labour just to produce a baby in order to lactate.

All this is just for tea or food products that can easily be created using plant based alternatives that are as easy as blending nuts or grains with some water at home.

The myth of calcium and protein is debunked as we all know that green vegetables, pulses, and tofu can provide adequate nutrients to us. Therefore, to provide religious reasons or excuses of a past legend of childhood Krishna, a folk hero who is worshipped as a ‘cowherd’ who is believed to have enjoyed milk products, is entirely irrelevant and must be stopped at the earliest.

Prabhupada has authored books such as Bhagwad Gita As It Is and given numerous lectures that have been starkly misogynistic.

Hare Krishna community is already disgraced publicly numerous times due to misogyny, rape normalisation, and casteist as well as racist speeches by their ignoble founder Prabhupada.

A pathetic example of Racism by Hare Krishna ISKCON founder followed by his community members in a silly way.

Please share this article and video widely as ISKCON is an international organisation, and it appears that they continually hoodwink public, predominantly to maintain power, huge wealth, massive land ownership in the guise of dairy welfare farms. They erode the image of India and are bereft of any spirituality of truth and higher consciousness with their mediocre standards of behaviour, display of arrogance by priests, rampant misogynistic remarks, casteism, and racism, as clearly evidenced several times, without any trace of doubt.

  1. It doesn’t surprise me that casteism goes hand in hand with this exploitation. I understand better why veganism is a feminist fight now. It was quite a shock to me to learn that India is so high in meat production despite the Brahminical politics narrative that non-vegetarianism is impure.
