Seven Steps Into the Light

Do you believe in the values of truth, kindness, love and unity?

Do you feel a need to reach out and be able to help humanity and nature?

Do you have empathy and understanding for the suffering of others?

Many of us are light-workers even if we may not be practicing any specific healing techniques, because spiritual light is always within all of us and all we have to do is to let go of illusion to be able to accept our inner truth which is 100% love and light.

All our life is a journey of healing because each step we take is a lesson in how we can let-go of whatever feels false or unnecessary so that we can allow our inner light of truth to shine through. There are a few major steps that we all take in this journey of enlightenment, not necessarily in sequence, but often parallel and not in a quick crash-course or workshop but throughout our lifetimes.

STEP 1: A Search for Truth

As humans we have been gifted with intelligence that helps us ask vital questions. We all are born with a natural curiosity to know who we are, why we are here in the world and what we are meant to do with our life. Sometimes in the stress and struggles of growing up, many of us had to let go of our quest for truth and lost our child-like curiosity when we had to immerse ourselves in the task of obtaining degrees and earning a living. But, sooner or later we all are bound to return to the point of being ‘The Fool’ who knows that he knows little and is probably fast asleep in this cosmic dream which even top scientists are baffled while trying to figure out.search

STEP 2: Vanquishing our Fears

We are all riddled with fears simply because we are in the unknown. We are all releasing our fears slowly through life, including our fear of death, fear of suffering, fear of rejection, fear of judgement, fear of losing and fear of danger. Vulnerability is merely a sign that we are ready to face our fears. At the point we seem vulnerable, pretending to be outwardly strong does not help, because our biggest strength is within us in the form of our innocence and determination to be true to ourselves. No evil beings, global conspiracies, devils or demons can harm us because they are expressions or manifestations of fear based consciousness. Each time we begin to face our fears and still find that we are here in-spite of all we have been through, we have overcome the illusion of fear and allowed truth to prevail. dark-2873342_960_720

STEP 3: Self-Love and Gratitude for the Present

A lot of people keep thinking of all the dreams and hopes that are unfulfilled, wishes that could not come true, the romances that eluded them, the fame or fortune that they could have had…only if. This keeps our energy blocked in the past and the gift called the present remains unopened. In truth we may have a lot to be thankful for as compared to the millions who are suffering much more. Regardless of our pain, we can open our heart by focusing on what we have right now instead of on regrets and remorse. From now on we can build upon our present and allow life to unfold and take a better course. This is the foundation of true love which is not worried about what we did not receive but on the process of self-acceptance, forgiveness and moving on with what we really have, because all we really have is our-self. Our personal integrity and goodness of heart is all we need to make a powerful new beginning. heart-2945403_960_720

STEP 4: Compassion for Others

By saying that the universe is within us we do not mean that only our limited ego-self is all there is. The universe is within as our expanded heart that encompasses every being in its consciousness. We can feel a oneness with all there is through an increased sensitivity. Sometimes people who are sensitive or empathetic can shut down and disconnect from others, because we feel uncomfortable while connecting with some beings who drain us energetically or telepathically. At the same time through this gift of intuition we also connect across time, space and dimensions to help those who actually need us. We can begin by random acts of kindness, charity, generosity towards a cause, following our heart and giving our time to serve the helpless.animal-welfare-1116215_960_720

STEP 5: Earth Healing

Through our expanded heart we can feel for nature and not just our near and dear ones or those who will help us in some way. Spiritual professionals always look for some sort of energy exchange in conducting any services that are healing oriented. While this is necessary for our existence in a material realm, we can also share our blessings with animals or trees who are unable to return the favor through money. We know that we share our ecosystem and every improvement in the state of our planet directly improves our life as well. By unconditionally loving our planet we can expand our healing vibrations multiple times and connect with the higher self or ‘creator’ in a deeper way.dove-2967593_960_720

STEP 6: Higher Consciousness

While on earth we are all bound by the rules of existence and laws of nature. Our magical work manifests slowly and patiently in ways that our mind can accept and comprehend. However as we expand our consciousness we might find our magical powers get a somewhat super-boost. We might find amazing synchronicity such as repeated numbers, seeing exactly what we thought a few moments ago in the outer reality, receiving our wishes exactly as we asked, even miracles that we had never even dreamed of might manifest. This is because in the higher or infinite mind, anything and everything is possible and our rational skepticism starts giving way to a great faith and trust in our higher or unlimited self who is one with the source or creator of all there is.universe-2736507_960_720

STEP 7: Awakened Being

From the depths of unconsciousness, to the conscious acceptance of our creator self, we have come a long way through this illusion of time and space. We are constantly surrounded by illusion that is a generation of our mind.  We are awake in our own cosmic dream and know that all around us is the matrix of the mind. There is nothing outside us at all. Everything is happening right here and right now with the past, present and future being part of the grand illusion of consciousness existing at various levels of awareness. We are multi-dimensional beings experiencing our unique individuality even while we are actually one Soul, one Truth and one Light. If we think linearly, it may seem that nobody has been able to experience a complete cosmic awakening, yet the truth is that in some dimension of space and time, we are all One and all awakened right now. This awareness pf our True Self or Highest One Self, can in itself be a foundation of our liberation from all sorrows and suffering.one

What They Don’t Teach You At Any Conventional School

Most of humanity has been living at a very low level of awareness, namely only at an outer level. Since we are very young, we learn about how to read, write, count, play, win, earn, aspire and succeed through routine life. Our education system has seen quite a few positive changes, such as fun-based education, vocational training, gender equality and cultural sensitivity. But what are we really missing in our academics today?

There are seven types of education needs that require attention and nourishment.

  1. Physical: Right from the time we are born we learn about physical awareness, personal care, kinesthetic skills and slowly get engrossed in the ‘world process’. This training is given throughout our pre-nursery, nursery and preparatory education. games-2801332_960_720.jpg
  2. Sensory: As our foundations are built in sensory awareness we learn various creative skills including art, crafts, music, dance and literature. The idea is to enjoy interacting with our environment with all our senses as taught to a certain degree in our primary to secondary schooling as well as in specialized learning centers. piano-2323844_960_720.jpg
  3. Mental: We grow into thinking about our world and how to succeed in it through career skills that are in-demand in the outer world, primarily science, technology or business in our maturing years through college. Learning theoretical concepts, various rules and their application seems to be the primary concern for most of our educational institutes and for most parents who worry about ‘what the kid will be’ in the commercial world of grown-ups.learn-2405206_960_720.jpg
  4. Heart-based: We learn how to be kind and loving as human beings and to be in tune with our inner nature through our feelings and not just through rules and regulations. Our education system has been more or less mind-centered while lessons of the heart are experienced through our own relationships and heart opening experiences. We need to learn how to be in-touch with our own heart and soul through education that allows us to follow our heart and be aware of our inner source of love, healing and compassion. puppy-2814858_960_720.jpg
  5.  Truth-seeking: We all need to be able to talk to our inner self with honesty and trust. Sometimes schooling prohibits our truthful introspection by focusing only on talking to others. We end up copying the world and repeating what we learn through books or through rules via mental absorption and shallow self-expression. We need to learn how to listen and talk to our inner-self, and not just with people around us so that we can discover higher truths.relaxation.jpg
  6. Inner Power: Our higher energy center awakens through meditation when we stop looking only outside and begin to look within. Our own intuition begins to develop. We learn to see beyond our thoughts and to be aware of something beyond the mind and beyond distance and time. As we learn how to use visualisation towards conscious manifestation of any situation in our life we suddenly we begin to see the maya of the world for what it is, merely a projection of our subconscious mind-stuff. Yet, only a small fraction of our population ever get to really experience or accept this important inner awakening which our world-focused education system is yet to discover. meditation
  7. Self-realization: Within each of us is a source of great peace and truth. As we realize from the dream of this illusory physical universe and no longer crave for mere material or worldly success, we experience for the first time a deep sense of inner contentment. This is the energy center of higher wisdom where our consciousness is fully awakened and we no longer feel separate from who we call God or Creator. Our education system will be unable to fully offer this training as this experience can only happen from within. yet, our schooling must evolve in order to inspire us through meditation and self-introspection to help us question reality and seek the truth about who we are and why we are here.lotus-2824909_960_720

As we can see, a love for inner truth and higher awareness has so far been totally ignored in conventional education. If some schools have started to include yoga and meditation in their curriculum, it has been more or less presented as a technique for physical wellness and stress management to help us cope with academic and material life, and not as an truly awakening experience that sets us free from the ‘matrix’ of unconsciousness.

sleep-907769_960_720.jpg

The result – a world where most people have been deeply asleep. On one hand we have extremes of materialism and addictions to external things, and on the other we have escapism, illness and suicide.

When people are unaware that creation flows from within them through their heart, soul and inner-vision, we see a world plagued with frustration, crime and poverty. Struggle and strife became the bane of existence with only an outer level education. The feeling that the world is very big and we are small, powerless and need a lot of money, fame or acceptance by society is the illusion that gave birth to a great sense of insecurity, meaninglessness and anger.

matrix-2502957_960_720

We all have been ‘dumbed down’ through ignorance based religious texts that inspired hate, division, fights and dogma by preaching blind-faith in external deities. We were doctrinated into gender discrimination, sexual dominance, racial superiority, religious pride and ritualistic superstition by belief in scriptures that prevent real conscious inquiry.

So what can be the solution?

We as awakened adults need to first learn and then teach both our kids and other adults on a priority basis that:

1. We are in the world to be conscious and awaken to the True Self from within.

2. The outer world is an illusion that we are all manifesting through our personal and group consciousness.

3. We are all interlinked through an invisible matrix of minds, yet we exist as One Universal Soul at the creator level consciousness to which we are all meant to return.

Two major obstacles have been in our way and it is time to rise above them.

a. Religious fears can and should be challenged so that we can exit the false illusion of bookish systems of fundamentalism and understand that it is the inner self that needs to be awakened to create a better world. Blindly believing in rituals or scriptures even though they have been severely negative and confining, merely because our ancestors and family members have done so has led to a divided and ignorant world.

b. Scientific blindness has to be cured by understanding that science is an observation of outer world, whereas spirituality is to experience your own inner creator power for yourself regardless of seeking everyone’s approval through technical proof. Infact other people’s disbelief creates their own reality of a ‘non-magical’ world in which they are not in the center of creation. Each one of us has to awaken from within and to learn how to live as conscious beings of light.

Ten Fears Transformed Through Self Awareness

In this world everything is created out of our energy. We can choose to resonate love, peace and positive energy right now and life would be nothing but wonderful. Yet in the deep throes of our unconscious mind we might have carried fears for several lifetimes. These fears have all possibility of becoming real unless we transform them through our inner light of truth.

  1. Fear of Losing: All greed, attachment and selfishness was due to our false fear of losing something. Within us is an unlimited source of positive energy  that constantly creates all there is. There is nothing to lose because everything in the world is right now within. See the unlimited universe within you right now.universe-1
  2. Fear of Accepting: We all carry the positive energy of the creator within us. We all are deserving of endless happiness and our life is merely a dance of joy. To accept our highest good is natural when we are attuned to the inner good within us and hidden within everything.flower-213415_960_720
  3. Fear of Love: We hurt ourselves and each others due to fear. Love is the bridge that merges the I and You into one. Our limited egos are dissolved through self awareness and love is all that remains. In truth this is a wonderful experience of awakening. Our separation is illusion. Open yourself to your true nature which is love.heart-462873_960_720
  4. Fear of Being Alone: The depression and loneliness of society has roots in our ignorance of what is within us. We can be supremely self-content and happy right now. Real happiness is not a result of outer things or people. All things and people outside are reflections of the inner self. Be with the inner self and all is healed with real happiness which has no cause except itself.alone
  5. Fear of Failure: Did you know that in truth there is no thing called failure? We always manifest 100% of what we resonate. In life each moment is totally created by us. As such we always succeed in getting whatever it is that we hold in mind. The universal laws totally serve us without any conditions. Nothing stops us from achieving anything at all in this world which is our projection.mind
  6. Fear of Success: More than failure people have feared success. False conditioning was based on imagining that the world is a bad place where evil succeeds. We were jealous or resentful of success of others and also of ourselves due to this misguided perception. Real success is all about being positive which creates all good things. Simply see yourself and everyone as deserving of amazing success by forgiving the past and allowing the positive now in full abundance.pumpkins-1004417_960_720 (1).jpg
  7. Fear of Trust: Unhappiness comes with an expectation of something from others. Trust heals this by helping us realize that everything naturally follows our own karma. Whatever we send returns our way through the illusion of others. The law of nature is absolute and it sets us free through perfect trust. All is well if we are well from within. Automatically positive situations and people surround us when we are positive. Trust yourself.awareness-1052371_960_720.jpg
  8. Fear of Responsibility: We have underestimated our own power at times. The fear of incapability is false. When we awaken to our inner truth we activate this amazing power or Shakti within us that creates not just our life but all life, not just our limited universe but all multidimensional universes. Doing anything is easy if you let go of fear and let your inner god or goddess take over.force.jpg
  9. Fear of Control: Conspiracy theorists would have you believe that the world is controlled by certain beings while we are all victims of evil. In truth all controls of the world are placed by our inner self who is wise and all powerful. We create the world. All the rules of our universe are there to help us arrange our world beautifully. In truth there is no chaos but a natural rhythm within each particle. All is perfect in itself.leaves-1708525_960_720
  10. Fear of Letting Go: Ego or ignorance kept us trapped in our limited experiences from time to time. We felt blocked in our own cage of limited beliefs chosen by us out of fear. We have the choice right now to shed all our limitations and accept our inner unlimited self which is everywhere, in all things and in all beings. This can happen, not by a desire to escape, but very naturally through self awareness. Meditation automatically raises our inner power towards liberation.meditation-1384758_960_720swatiprakash  Swati Prakash is a spiritual author and can be followed on www.amazon.com/author/swatiprakash

Five Steps to Exit the Matrix

We all live in the Matrix. It is a virtual ‘reality’ experience we all are having – an experience called life. All our thoughts, both conscious and subconscious are fed into this system that creates a new ‘reality’ for us from moment to moment, frame by frame and lifetime to lifetime. Its exactly like a multidimensional computer simulation that we experience with all our senses. The Matrix unconditionally serves our every fantasy and fear. All our negative or positive ideas create our lifetimes or alternate realities. While creating a better experience is possible, rising above the Matrix is possible too. For those who care for the truth, these are the five steps through which you can get unplugged:

  1. See the Signs: There are signs everywhere that tell you that you are plugged in to the Matrix. You may have experiences of synchronicity – each of your thought is inevitably connected to the entire world through the Matrix. Your dreams are connected to reality and transcend time, giving you glimpses of past or future. See the world as fractals – they are everywhere, in clouds, in shorelines, in the soil, in mountains, in the seashells and pine-cones, in vegetables and flowers, even in your own body. There is nothing where you cannot see nature’s design or sacred geometry indicating the mathematical factorials encoding all creation. Most of all notice how everything is energy and how your thoughts are materializing into your life everyday by themselves as per the inbuilt rules of this ‘program’. Pay attention.fractal-gold.jpg
  2. Meditate: You will need to learn how to get unplugged yourself instead of waiting for someone else. Meditation requires nobody and nothing except you. Breathe naturally, closing your eyes helps initially, find the space between your thoughts and stay there in the silence of ‘no-mind’ for as long as you can. Do this daily for half an hour at least and increase the time. You will get better at being free of thoughts and your mind. See the blank space of your inner self and be with your inner self which is not your mind or your thoughts. Let go of the outer layers of physical senses, emotions, mental ideas and desires. Experience just being. It is possible and necessary.buddha-1.jpg
  3. Master Reality: The more you spend time with your inner self of no-mind, the more control you will have over your mind and hence over the matrix of reality. You will start playing with reality as it twirls around you folding into the shape you choose. Your life situations and experiences will be at your command. You are only practicing and sharpening your skills. Be detached from the desire of any outcome. Both mental and physical actions are karma and they return. Be pure and positive because harming anyone, even yourself will only get you entangled in further karmic cages making it very hard to be free. Be unconditional in what you create; even if you create something positive expect nothing in return to keep yourself free of karmic webs. fractal-a
  4. Rise Above the Illusion: All the people, events, things around you will be revealed as your own mental projections, conscious and subconscious. You can enjoy this experience of ‘reality’ through money, fame, romance and fun…yet no matter how much you acquire, these will be mere illusion and nothing more. The reason why enlightened masters have no fascination for increasing their bank-balance, sensual pleasures or popularity is simply this. The truth is only found within and it far more joyous than anything outer can ever be. No amount of money in the matrix can buy you freedom. Talking negatively and being unhappy or depressed is worse as it drops your kundalini shakti or inner power down. Keep rising above the illusion while being supremely happy and self-content for no external reason whatsoever.fractal-1475802_960_720
  5. Allow Truth: You do not have to be anxious to be freed of the maya of life. Wishing to be free of desires is also a desire. Thinking of being free from the Matrix is also a thought that plugs you in further. To be unplugged just let go and that is all. Simply be in meditation. Allow this moksha to happen by itself whenever it has to. Have no expectations of how, when and what it will be like. Surrender to your truth. You will be established in a state of self-awareness and meditation even in your day to day life after practice of meditation. It may feel safe to stay in the comfort of the matrix, yet be fearless because truth sets you free and a cage even if golden and beautiful will still be a cage. Be with your inner self and allow your liberation to simply happen whenever you are ready – any moment…even right now. universe-1044107_960_720swatiprakash  Swati Prakash is a spiritual author and can be followed on www.amazon.com/author/swatiprakash

Positive Story: How to Be Richer than a Zillionaire

Here is a story that could inspire you today…

Once there was a beggar who had no home, no car, not even sufficient food or education. He lived on whatever people could toss his way out of pity. He was tired of this struggle. He dreamed of being really rich, of having many millions one day..he spent a lot of time imagining himself to be rich and wealthy…And so with all the money he made begging, he also bought the lottery once a week to try his luck. And….one day he actually won the jackpot. He could not believe his luck, yes – he was a millionaire! It was all he had dreamed and imagined all the time… coming true finally. He bought a large house with a large car, the best designer clothes, went flying off to trips around the world, spent his days eating five star food and nights in drinking and partying in high profile clubs, living the high life..And then, within a few months he was back to having nothing. Yet he needed more…and more…to keep up his enormous appetite for all kinds of pleasures. He sold his house, went on rent again, until he had no money for even that, finally returning to where he began, homeless and poor, asking for money, benefits, charity…from others.

clock-77497_960_720beggar-521398_960_720.jpg

Once again, he had no house, no car, not even sufficient food or education. He lived on whatever people could toss his way out of pity. He was tired of this struggle. Then, one day, he decided to meditate. He just sat there wherever he was and closed his eyes, breathing, till he felt calm and peaceful, till his thoughts had all gone. Meditation was free, required no conditions at all….it could be done anytime, anyplace, by anyone, in any situation….So he did it. First for a few minutes…then for half an hour a day, then for an hour…Slowly he did it for longer periods of time and more often, almost everyday…. Wow!  This was better than any food he had eaten….It was better than sex, better than drugs, better than drinking, gambling…infact this felt better than anything ever. He slowly conquered his hunger, his discomfort, his fears, his insecurities…he slowly conquered his pain and sorrow, his needs and wants…. He was light, free, blissful, peaceful…..and he did not even realize how many days had gone by…he did not even realize how many people had gathered around him. Some of the wealthiest people in the world came by just to be in his presence, just to take his inspiration, to learn and meditate with him. They were ready to offer him all their wealth in return of the secret of his infinite peace. Yet, all he did was meditate, without being distracted. And that is why he was richer than the richest person on earth! He had more to give than anyone ever, and needed nothing….he had everything! Others followed his example and found their own inner peace…slowly, bit by bit, the world began to heal.

saint-198958_960_720gold-buddha-1463802

Normally people think charity is all about giving money, food and basic necessities to others. We imagine the world’s problems will be solved if money was distributed amongst all those who are poor. But would this really work? Would those who are poor become rich after receiving money? Or would they be poor again after a few days of spending the money up? In contrast, spirituality is something that TRULY makes us rich, really really rich! Because true wealth is not measured by how much money and property you own, or by how much financial charity you give to the world. True wealth is deep within you. Its a fountain of endless treasure that money can never buy. Material charity is at best a temporary relief until the person discovers this fountain of endless wealth within.

You might think that learning to make money, learning to work and earn, to invest wisely, to attract success, to build more and more wealth is an alternate answer to the problem of poverty. Sure it is…Yet, what would happen if the economy crashes, if markets fall, if there is famine, war or any other calamity? And…is learning how to make or attract money sufficient? Will it bring peace and happiness to all? More importantly, why are we here in this existence? Are we merely here in the world to learn how to survive and be materially successful? Perhaps not. We are all here in this world, not just to learn how to be  materially successful, but to learn how to find pure inner joy, which is infact our ONLY true and natural state. A person who finds this inner gold, or inner diamond is richer than the richest person in the entire universe!

It could be you!

Hope you enjoyed this story and felt inspired to be on the path that is true.

Meditation: The Most Important Thing for Us All

meditation-511562_1920

What is meditation?

Meditation means going within (from the latin word medi that means middle or center). We all are something beyond our physical bodies, beyond our feelings, our desires, our thoughts…there is something deeper within us. Meditation is about being with this deeper part of us.

Why should we meditate?

In our day to day life we go through many ups and downs, seeing and experiencing both negative and positive things in the world, in our lives…and getting affected by them all. This is a state of duality or illusion…where we fall out of balance, fearful and unaware of who we are. Negative energy, fears or blocks are a result of this imbalance or ignorance…manifesting as diseases, problems, harmful thoughts, negative attachments, destructive beliefs, disturbed behavior or unhappiness of various kinds. Through meditation we awaken to our inner truth and discover inner happiness. We know that there is nothing to fear at all. This brings peace and joy to all of us and puts us all back in a balanced and wholesome state making everything better.

Who can meditate?

Anyone can, there are no restrictions of gender and even children can meditate whenever they are ready for it.

girl-481259_1280

When should we meditate?

Meditation is an inner state and not restricted by time. Whether it is morning or night, before food or after, is not so important, although keeping a light stomach helps some people in focusing better, and it helps to be not too sleepy when you are trying to meditate. Women in their periods, or people who are not feeling well can meditate as well. In-fact meditation could help in healing you during uncomfortable times. With practice meditation will become easier and effortlessly possible at any time.

What should be worn?

There is no need to wear any special type of outfit. As long as you are comfortable you can meditate whether at work or home in your day to day clothes.

Are there any specific methods of meditation?

It does not matter what technique you use to draw focus from outer world to the inner self….some people begin by closing their eyes and sitting still, some prefer listening to soothing music to relax their mind, some focus on chanting or mantras, some focus on their breath, all these are just aids or induction techniques to gradually achieve stillness. Yet these are not meditation itself. Meditation is when we go beyond all this and be without any thoughts to discover the innermost self.

adyashanti-792303_1920.jpg

What are the steps to follow?

Step 1. Relaxed awareness: In day to day life sometimes we get absorbed in the experiences without remembering our innermost self. The first step in meditation is to draw our senses inwards. You can try this by closing your eyes gently and sitting in a comfortable posture, neither slouching not stiff.

Step 2: Observation: Instead of getting attached to any feelings, thoughts or mind-chatter, just observe them and watch them quieten. Observing something gives you power over it. Observe your breath and your mind… and watch the space between your thoughts.

Step 3: Witnessing: When you find the space between your thoughts …when there is inner silence, then you can observe your true self. This is who you really are. Be with yourself as a witness to the self. This takes you beyond the illusion of the world process and in alignment with your inner truth which is pure peace and bliss.

For how long should we meditate?

You can meditate for as long as you want. You might take some time in the beginning to even reach a meditative state and the idea is that once you get there you must stay in it for as long as possible. You can begin with practicing for 30 minutes a day and slowly increase it to one hour a day. As you practice each day after a period of dedicated practice, you will find that the meditative state will come naturally to you and in every part of the day and even at night while sleeping you will be in a deep inner state. Still it will be good to dedicate at least one hour a day for specially being just with yourself and meditating.

What will happen once you reach a meditative state?

For each person their own individual and unique experiences are important. You can note and observe our own experiences. For example: Being one with nature, Being one with the universe, Feeling light, Just being, Pure peace and bliss…these are some of the common experiences of people who meditate. After you achieve this ‘enlightened’ state you will not feel superior in any way but will be more compassionate and humble, recognizing that all is one.
