TAKE THE VEGAN PLEDGE
I declare myself Vegan, understanding that Veganism is the moral philosophy and practice of humans respecting the basic rights of all sentient non-human animals.
I pledge to respect the basic rights of sentient living beings including non human animals, such as their freedom from being used, exploited, confined, oppressed, discriminated upon, unreasonably killed or injured, unreasonably harmed, or subject to any other injustice, slavery, abuse or unfairness.
I will refuse to support or be part of products, services, and activities that violate the basic rights of non human animals, and seek Vegan alternatives that align with justice and fairness.
I commit to living as a Vegan from now onwards, both in terms of a moral philosophy and a practical lifestyle.
I recognize that Veganism is a basic human responsibility — a conscious moral choice to live ethically in a world shared with other sentient living beings.
By taking this pledge, I commit to a lifelong decision, guided by justice, ethics, and fairness, and the recognition that all sentient beings, and not just human beings, deserve respect and basic rights.
Please share the pledge widely to awaken humanity and create awareness of facts.
