Five Secrets of Our Soul

Who are we? Why are we here? People have begun to ask these questions now as our intelligence develops as a powerful specie on earth. Here are a few thoughts to help ease our mind and provide deeper perspectives regarding our spiritual truth.

1. We all have a Common Essence: Everything that has a form has also a deep formless energy at the core as being discovered scientifically and understood spiritually for ages. Basic logic would tell us that everything that exists in formation must have emerged from a formless primordial state. This state of energy would be beyond body and mind. This inner peace and thought-free state of being can be found through meditation as our true Self. It is within us all the time.

2. Our Common Inner Self is Infinite in Potential: The inner state of peace and pure consciousness that is the creator energy is simply an infinite potentiality which is capable of taking innumerable forms. It is like a zero that twists into infinity. As the zero state has infinite potential it simultaneously exists in infinite forms right now while being zero at the same time. It manifests as the omniverse with infinite number of beings of infinite variety including our present form.

3. Everything is Energy Changing Form through Innumerable Deaths and Rebirths: We all know energy is neither created, nor destroyed…it only changes form. If we are energy, which we most certainly are, and our true self is the primordial energy of the creator, we have existed in innumerable forms in past, present and future in infinite universes. We are in truth multidimensional beings existing throughout space and time through this self-created illusion of infinity.

4. We Have Forgotten Our Essence for a Purpose: As our true self is our common One soul, infinite and multidimensional it manifests with the help of Ego. Our ego is not necessarily evil. It is a limited self belief to help us stay grounded in one particular reality at a time. In each lifetime we forget who we are and create a new body and a new story to express various potentials, talents, skills, thoughts, and to have various experiences, both good and bad. We encounter various people and creatures and go through various situations that mirror ourself back at us. Through these various egos we learn various aspects of who we are systematically to fulfil our infinite potential step by step.

5. We Remember Who We Are Sooner or Later: As the one divine consciousness or creator energy within us feels more and more fulfilled through various forms and incarnations, it begins to develop higher forms of intelligence. In human form we begin to remember that we are the One and we have not only reincarnated once but infinitely to become all there is. All of us begin to see ourselves as various parts of our common self. Thus the world starts to heal with love, respect, peace and kindness to all beings through this divine interconnection.

Five Myths About Spiritual People

Spirituality is sometimes misunderstood in society. Most people are still learning about the outer world of physical dimensions and are unaware of the spiritual world. These are five preconceived notions that you might need to transform when dealing with opinions around you in media and social interactions.

Myth 1: Spiritual People are Unbalanced and Lost In a Fantasy World

Truth: There may be some people who are lost in fantasy and surrealism without real spiritual awareness, however a person who is truly spiritual and meditative is normally balanced in the physical, mental as well as spiritual sense. Truly spiritual people are not lunatic, crazy, detached from reality or escaping depression, although they could go through various phases of highs or lows in their journey of life. They see the reality around them as well as seek the inner truth within it to understand themselves better. Spirituality is about applying inner wisdom even while being in the outer world in a way that improves, transforms and enlightens our incarnation. It is about knowing who we are and what the world is truly made of, making it a scientific inquiry into the meaning and purpose of life.

Myth 2: Spiritual People Are Always Sweet and Praise You All The Time

anonymous-438427_960_720

Truth: While spirituality does improve one’s capacity to be loving, kind and helpful to the right cause, spiritual people also have a high sense of honesty and ethics and will not promote the wrong cause. Do not expect them to have fake sweetness or to wear a false mask just to maintain relations. They are trusting but once they see deception, dishonesty and lack of sincerity they expose agendas that do not seem to resonate with love and light. Trying to harm or trick anyone who is spiritually wise can usually backfire, not because they will harm you back, but because your own karma will return your way immediately and automatically. From their side they are open to authentic communication and to forgive unconditionally, but they detach and leave you to learn your lessons if you are unwilling to learn through wisdom.

Myth 3: Spiritual People Should Not be Prosperous or Enjoy Life

Truth: Spiritual people know how to attract abundance for themselves and others as and when required because there is always more than enough in nature for everyone including ourselves. While it is true that spirituality makes one less dependent on outer pleasures and outer comfort, spiritual people are not beggars either. They are aware that money is a resource that is not evil in itself. It is how you apply money that makes you deserving or undeserving. When offered money or resources they prefer to use it well in ways that enlighten, inspire and heal the world. Supporting spiritual cause of raising consciousness could be better than wasting money and resources on businesses and activities than merely promote ill-health and unhappiness in the world around us.

Myth 4: Spiritual People Are Crooks and Con Artists

Truth: The idea that spiritual people are fraudulent stems from observing those who are not at all spiritual but pretend being spiritual without being truly positive from within. Robes and titles, numerous followers and knowledge of mantras, books or scriptures cannot always indicate true spirituality. With skepticism, doubt and fear, you might not attract the right people towards you. In case you are coming across a lot of negative people disguised as spiritual it may be a good idea to meditate and attain your own inner realizations first. Once you are intuitive and on the meditative path you will slowly begin to attract and understand the right spiritual people and their vibrations. You will find many people who are genuinely intuitive, truly inspiring and full of healing energy… especially yourself.

Myth 5:  Spiritual People Have Special Miraculous Powers

Truth: We all have inner power over our life and our realities – we just have to realize who we are. The only thing spiritual realization will give you is higher awareness. Through awareness and knowledge you will be able to understand and deal with life situations in intuitive and wise ways. You will be able to create a life of your choice just as well as anyone else can. A truly spiritual master will not ask you to follow him unquestioningly, or demonstrate their superiority over others through any magic tricks. The right gurus are the ones to awaken the guru within yourself and to help you gain awareness to become your own master. Most importantly spiritual persons are not addicted to powers but adept at letting go of the outer illusions and focusing on the inner truth.

7 New Ways of Raising the New Generation

The world is transforming everyday and we are awakening to new ways of being and becoming in each moment. The old rules of parenting, teaching and authority may not always apply to all of us from now on. We are realizing that raising children is not just about making them do what we want them to do, but about allowing them to be the best they can be through their own self-realization.

1. Recognize their Spirit: We were children once and the way we were brought up was, at many times, based on the old-fashioned world views of materialism. Today we awaken to our spiritual truth. We are seeing ourselves as spirit beings who have manifested our bodies and our realities through our own mind. We are realizing that our children too are divine spirits embodied in their cute exteriors. Their bodies are growing and so are their minds, but deep within we can see a soul that is wise beyond appearances. You are looking at someone with lifetimes of experiences and awareness hidden underneath.kids4

2. Respect your Kids: When we begin to see our children and ourselves as divine beings of spirit rather than just material or physical objects, respect for ourselves and for others including our kids is quite automatic. Self-respecting parents would respect their children and their children would grow up into self-respecting adults. In contrast, parents who have not learnt the values of self-love and self-respect treat kids as their possessions and might turn abusive verbally or physically with kids. Kids are small and vulnerable and if anything, this should ideally inspire kindness and care, not control and domination. They are our equals in every way.kids2

3. Let them Know Themselves: Traditional schooling and parenting were based on materialism and therefore focused on gaining understanding about physical processes and worldly life alone. Modern schooling and parenting is based on spiritual realization and need to focus on first and foremost an awareness of who we are deep within. We are beginning to understand what are we doing in this world and how we can interact with reality and literally manifest a reality through our choices. We need to allow children to question reality and understand their own choices at any point instead of merely telling them what to do. kids3

4. Allow Truthful Expression: Society has focused on being outwardly polite and two-faced for much too long. We taught our kids manners and not real love. We learnt that it is necessary to pretend to like someone, to engage in ‘small talk’ and greetings when we see others just for the sake of it, and to socialize at the expense of self-awareness. Today we see through the falseness of these facades when we see people gossip behind the backs of the very people they greet sweetly. Will it not be a better world if people allowed love and kindness to emerge honestly from the depth of each heart and soul? This begins with allowing kids to choose whether they want to interact with others, choose with whom they really want to talk to and what they wish to express rather than making them pretentious. kids6

5. Let Them Choose How to Be: Much too early in life parent’s have this urge of thinking about what the child would ‘turn out to be’ when they grow up. In truth, we never stop growing up mentally. We are always learning and changing our outward forms. Our fashion sense, our career choices, our relationships, our interests and hobbies…all are changeable and unlimited at any point. Let kids learn that how they are and what they do as kids or adults at any time is completely dependent on them, instead of imposing structured ways of limited thinking. When we let go of our expectations regarding their career, their lifestyle, their hobbies or anything else, we can allow a natural blossoming of their potentialities.kids5.jpg

6. Trust and Love Unconditionally: A lot of parenting has been fear based. We tried to protect our little ones from running into trouble, with the world, with evil, with authorities, with the systems around us…Our own fears constantly projected upon our children stifled their trusting spirit. We forgot that all of reality is TOTALLY and completely our creation. All we need to do it understand and remember the rules that we have placed in our own world through our own choices. We have created each system and each path in our world in order to navigate it more comfortably. Instead of fighting and feeling angry or frustrated, we need to remember that the ultimate creator is within us all, including our kids. kids1

7. Let Intuition Be The Guide: As parents and teachers of the younger generation the temptation of being the master and ultimate guide is quite strong at times. Yet, the real parent and teacher is one who allows the child’s own inner guidance to emerge naturally and meditatively. They are living, learning, choosing, creating this world constantly. To flow with intuition is to recognize the creator within and allow this inner creative power to take over and manifest our best. When the inner creative spirit guides our choices we know that somehow all will align with the highest good.kids7swatiprakash  Swati Prakash is a spiritual author and can be followed on www.amazon.com/author/swatiprakash
