Positive News- Braille tablet for blind readers

Researchers have developed e-tablet for the vision imparied that works on pneumatics- small bubbles are filled with fluid or air to inflate and deflate, creating words in Braille.

So far, those fluent in Braille can read computer screens through refreshable mechanical displays that convert the words to raised dots – but only one line at a time, so this is the first time a full page display, like Kindle is available at affordable costs to blind readers.

You can read more about the research here or this news here as we congratulate the team at Michigan and hope many follow this altruistic example of scientific bravura!
